so I've been reading older posts on making your own RTM and most of them say to add WEN oils to the mix. I don't have any WEN oils, but I do have Sweet Almond Oil, does anyone know if that would that be ok to add to the mix?

Hi!

Before I purchased the WEN treatment oil, I made my own version of the RTM using Maracuja oil and it worked just fine. Perhaps not as perfect of a mix as Chaz's, but it worked well enough.

I would try it and if it doesn't work, you really have not lost much $$$.

What is the recipe for DIY RTM again? I use RTM on my 2YO son's hair to get rid of his bedhead before daycare. He loves it so much..if I have ever tried to skip doing it he says, "BEDHEAD, MOMMY!" and I'm almost out.

6 oz warm water

4 pumps cc from a 6 or 16oz bottle, 2 pumps if from a 32oz, 3 pumps if you're using a 16oz seasonal and 1 pump if you're using 613 from a 32oz or 2 if from a 16oz.

2 pumps styling cream (optional)

3-4 drops of WEN oil (adjust to your needs)

I make my RTM without the Styling Cream. I also add a lot more oil. It works perfectly for my ""bedhead.""

I would love to do this with 613 RTM, but of course NO OIL!

Need 613 oil!

I've made my on 613 RTM and I just used SOB oil, still smells very good. Also made some for my dogs using the WEN Pets and used the same oil , not that I wouldn't love a 613 oil. I keep hoping though.
