DEC 25 gallon A/D ?

i got the gallon and ordered the aotu del with free shipping due to ship 12-25. well i just opened my other gallon and barely used it yet and got an email yesterday saying my gallon will be shipping nov 11th i think the date was? i was hoping it would ship closer to the date it specified on my order .is there a way to hold off shipment or skip shipment to later on like jan even? or will i loose my gallon? has anyone done this before? and has anyone else gotten an email saying it's going to ship a whole month early?
