Our family went to the beach for vacation last week.

I am a HUGE philosophy girl. I use the UL body wash, lotion, and EDT. It is my favorite philo fragrance and I've used it for years. All I have are the big daddy sizes, since they're usually more economical.

Since I didn't feel like packing the big daddy sizes, I decided to use another one of my favorites- Origins Ginger Essence.

Every night, I snuggled with the kids after our day. After the third night, my 6 year old DD asked, "When are you going to start smelling like Mommy again?" I told her I wasn't sure what she meant and she said, "you don't smell like Mommy." I thought she was overtired and blew it off.

The next day, after my shower, she came up to give me a hug and inhaled as though her life depended on it. She said,"you STILL don't smell like Mommy and I don't like it." She said I smelled good but not like Mommy.

When we got home from our trip, I went to shower and used my UL 3 in 1, lotion, and fragrance. After I was finished getting dressed, she ran into my room cheering, "Mommy smells like Mommy again!!!" I was rewarded with huge hugs and snuggles. She told me how the "smell of Mommy" makes her happy. I never realized that she had so many feelings attached to my fragrance. Needless to say, I'll always make sure to pack UL on our future family trips.
