CurrentBody has a new RLT mask

It has more LEDs (104 more) than their original mask. Plus they upgraded those LEDs to have the deepest IR light for better skin penetration. The new mask is also contoured with more lights in areas around the mouth, under-eyes and under the chin. Head strap is different also.

I already have the original mask but the new one is on my radar now.  Hope they have it on sale before the holidays.Woman Happy  price now is $469.

Re: CurrentBody has a new RLT mask

I recently got an email about that too, I like the way it goes under the chin and think the new strap will be better.  Now it is supposed to have "eye shields" which is good, anything I tried to use just ground into my eye area once I put on the mask.  I have watched the video and snooped all around and can't find an image of them.

@persiflage

I couldn't find the 'eye sheilds' either.

The chin part of the mask is great and also the upper lip area has lights on it where the older one did not.

I'm very much interested in this new mask, especially with the upgraded LEDs with 1072nm wavelength.

@SilleeMee  If you get the new RLT mask, what would you do with the mask you currently have? Maybe change between both of them?

The technology is interesting, but out of my budget. I hope this mask works for those who buy it. That's a large investment.

Take a look at this pic and it shows the eye openings have framed borders around them. I think those are the removable shield inserts. Mine doesn't have those. This is not my mask but it's like the one I currently own.

@teganslaw

I've had my old mask for a few years now. I got it for a good price back then. I think I got my money's-worth out of using it so I think I'll pass it on to a dear friend who is going through some tough times right now.

Yes, that new mask is expensive and I'm hoping to see it on sale for the holidays. No way I'll pay full price for it now.

Looks like that would be a nice mask. You can even add the neck decollete pieces to it.

Has 3 wavelengths. I have never seen the Deep NIR 1072NM. Do you know if anyone else makes one with the 1072NM?

I use RLT with NIR for pain on my knee & back. I want to buy a full body pad after I research to find the best one. It will be easier to do my whole body.

I would also like to try the one they make for your thyroid to see if it would help or not?

That's what I was going to say. Waiting for the Holiday's to see if they have a special.

It will be my gift to me.

They talk about lazer therapy occasionally on a Lichen planus forum I belong to.

I'm still listening to see if anyone has been able to have this therapy and write about it.

Omnilux makes one with the 1072nm wavelength. They call it their 'Men's' mask b/c that wavelength is good for thicker skin types.
