Curly eyelashes

When I was younger I wouldn't leave the house without curling my eyelashes. The used to be stick straight. Now they curl so much I have a hard time applying my rapid lash. I can't use eyeliner because my lashes are in the way. When I apply mascara they shoot straight up. Does anyone else have this problem? How do you apply eye makeup? The look like I got carried away with an eyelash curler. Almost bent from the base. You can see the under side of my eyelash rim. My lower lashes just stick straight out and you can't see them.

No I just started using that. They curl and when I put mascara on they go straight up. I can't for the life of me figure how to put on eyeliner. If I ever found a liner that wouldn't smude I would like to do my upper rim (waterline), since it would be easy to do.

I do have a couple of new lashes coming in that were so curly I debated about pulling them out. Now that they are getting longer they are blending with my lashes. I just worry that people will think I curled my lashes too hard.
