How much WEN did you use as your leave in?

I used 2 pumps of SOB from the 16 ounce bottle and 2 -3 pumps of Frizz Ease.

2nd day hair looks awesome! I can't wait to try it with Fig.

Thanks Andreatoo! I forgot to ask for other recommendations.

You use TIGI on dry hair? How? As a finisher?

I have a lot of silicone serums, but never thought to use them on dry hair.

I just bought this serum too and have tried it after wen leave in with just okay results, maybe I should mix it with my leave in. How many pumps do you use? I've been using just 1 because I'm afraid to use too much.

ginab, try mixing 2 pumps FE and however much leave-in in your hand and spread through your sopping wet hair.

Silicones are synthetic oils, so a little goes a long way. For my short, curly hair, I use a quarter sized amount. A dime sized amount if I'm refreshing.

Also, make sure your hair is sopping wet.

My stylist carries Mixed Chicks for those of color with curly hair.

Mixed Chicks? It sounds like me! I have not heard of this line.

I never heard of it until I started at her salon several years ago. If you try it let us know how it worked for you.

I see Mixed Chicks a lot but never tried it. I'm interested in hearing about the results as well!

Just be careful--Frizz ease products can be really drying since they don't wash out easily. Their serums are really thick and heavy and they do make your hair look shiny and healthy--until you actually wash it all out. Frizz ease products did a number on my hair years ago.

FLsun, thanks.

I love using silicones on my hair. Wen does a great job of removing them; that's what sold me on Wen a year ago.

I am still struggling with my curls. My day 1 or 2 is always pretty awesome. After that it's all downhill for me. I will look into the Fizz Ease and the TIGI products.

I am far from a woman of color, but I have used the Mixed Chicks shampoo. I just didn't care for it. My hair always felt like straw after rinsing.

Re: Curly Girls...Your New BFF

It's great to find something that helps define curls. I never had luck, unfortunately, with any Frizz-Ease products, including the serum, and I am now on a silicone-free diet for my hair.

If I should ever fall off the wagon, I would go back to TIGI Curls Rock. That stuff really did rock.

Ice, my curls are straight nuts on a good day. Today they are defined, even the the greys are where they should be!

I cleanse twice a week, but I'm going to see how far I can push this.
