I just tried this today and have to say I am impressed with the results. Never ever thought of doing this. I have a Nars creams blush and put my powder foundation over it. What a difference. I learn so much from these beauty boards. Thanks for the tip.
I do the opposite. Cream blush first and powder on top which sets the blush nicely. I think the other way would not be good.
I was going to recommend the same thing. This technique can look really natural and beautiful.
It's the only way to apply a cream or gel blush. In fact even if you don't use a powder foundation (or wear no foundation at all) you really should dust a little powder over a cream or gel blush to avoid Ringling Bros. cheeks.
