Re: Cover FX Custom Color Drops -- anyone tried?

I just got them this week and have tried them two times. The first time I mixed it with Cerave PM moisturizer and used two drops. I thought the Cerave was a little too thin and I seemed a little dry by the end of the day. It didn't accentuate any lines, though. Today I mixed two drops with a tinted moisturizer and I liked it better.

Bottom line is that I also need to play with it a little more to find the best product to mix it with. I can't see using more than two drops at a time, at least for my needs. I have medium coloring with pink undertones and went with P40 and I like the color of the drops. I just need to play around with it a little more. I think I like it; just have to use it a few more times with different products. I'm going to try it tomorrow with a Paula's Choice moisturizer.

I'm in trouble! Plus, I just got a 20% off from Ulta too(rouge at both stores)! What's on your list so far?

All, I noticed on Phyrra's blog, she used them with several products, including the PC oil booster many of us love, as well as a PC moisturizer with spf. She did pics with each. Just thought some might find her post and info interesting and informative. Thanks Luv2playgolf for the info!!

Thanks. I'll have to read her blog. I do have the PC oil booster, so I will try it with that, also.

I may have to wait for a non-work day to try the oil method as I have no idea how that will go and if I'll have to mix anything else with it. You definitely need to have some time to play around with it and I don't think I have time on the mornings when I'm going to work!

okay what?? Instead of foundation or TM, she just added these drops to the PC oil booster or maybe even my PC skin recovery moisturizer with SPF?? Hmmm, this sounds intriguing. I will have to look into these pigment drops. I need to make sure they are cruelty free. It has been many moons since I used anything from the line so I can't remember. Thanks for the heads up!

HD-- yes!! I think she used it with the men's SPF (which my husband has, because he's kind of a freak about PC products -- I've created a monster! Anywho....) But you can mix with any product. You can use it with foundation to adjust a shade, add more coverage, add to TM, primer, OIL (!), serums, etc. It's crazy!

I totally understand. The oil is what I would be most nervous about, too!
