Countour & Highlighter -- Anyone use?

Just wondering and if so what you use -- drugstore & dept. -- and how you figure out which shade is just a tad deeper than your skin without being too much?

Goss shows this with some very deep shades but he is way better at blending than I'll ever be so only subtle would work for me.

Two powder highlighter brands that get good reviews are Lorac and Kevin Aucoin. Pricey and I've yet to find one subtle enough so hesitate to try.
