Cosmetic products on the View

This week I was watching and they mentioned two products that were drugstore items that were as good or better than their expensive counterparts. One expensive one was Latisse script eyelash grower. The drugstore version was Rimmel's Lash Accelerator. Then an expensive bronzer (forgot brand) vs. NYC bronzer. I found the Rimmel product today at Rite Aid and they had buy one, get one 50% so I got the Volume Accelerator too. Has anyone tried either one? Are you supposed to use them separately (like one for several weeks, then the other). I guess I just wonder if they work together. Has anyone seen results with either?
