Cosmetic Purchases at Walgreens

Hello Beuaties,

This is my first time posting here in the Beauty forum, but I lurk daily and have picked up lots of tips - thanks to you all. In turn, I wanted to share something I learned at Walgreen's today that I was previously unaware of, so thought I'd share just in case someone else didn't know. Through a series of events, I ended up trying to make a return/repurchase (with a coupon) at the Cosmetic counter. When I came up, the clerk informed me that I should ALWAYS make my purchases for cosmetics at the cosmetic counter because not only do they take the store-issued coupons, they keep a supply of maunfacturer-issued coupons on hand and look through them to see if they can save you even more on your cosmetic purchases. Sure enough, she found an additional $3 off coupon for my purchase. I ended up paying $8 and change for two Infallible Shadows (regularly $7.99 each). NICE...{#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

Not sure if this is true at EVERY Walgreens, but I know going forward I will certainly only make my purcahses at the cosmetics counter and will always ask if they have any additional coupons.
