I know you guys know I sometimes copy eye looks.  I haven't in a long time.  Do you?  Do you ever see a color combination or style you think you'd like to try and copy it?  I was watching an old Tati video the other night.  I don't think I'd seen it before.  She was using a Chanel quad I have but don't use too often.  I think we're going out tomorrow.  I've got the quad out in case we do.  I wish I could do a wing but my eyes just won't have it.

I always wonder why pink can look so nice on some women but I look like I have conjunctivitis?  Lol.

Me either! I can't wear pink like this - I look awful.  I also see people wearing a kind of orange shade.  No way on me!  I can wear a very, very pale pink as a highlighting shade but not a brighter pink on my eyes - ewww!

I can't seem to get a wing either!  I just either don't have the right eye shape or the right skill!

No--don't have the talent/patience for that and my monkey fingers don't co- operate either. I only wear neutrals anyway--easy to make a mistake and not see it.Woman Wink

Re: Copying Makeup Looks

I only use neutral shades on my eyes. I have tried to copy a couple of looks I've seen in photos using just neutrals. Depending on where I'm going I use anything from one up to 4 shades from my palette. I have used a pale pink shadow as a eye highlighter. I've never been very successful creating a wing either.

Enjoy creating looks with your eye makeup. Have a good weekend!

@monicakm   I can honestly say I didn't try to copy any eye makeup videos. However when I purchased my Merit single shadows in muted and some more colorful options like lavendars, etc. I had to watch on their site how to apply with brush #2.

I've kept up my makeup artist practice so am pretty good with doing eye looks. I'm sure you did a wonderful look with that palette. It's one of few Chanel Quads I passed on because the shades were too bright for me. Have a lot fun doing your looks.Heart

@kze  Me too! I have blue eyes and I thought pink would look great.....until it looked like I had been crying. Darn it, I love the colors too.

I have sometimes watched videos for various eyeshadow palettes I have.  And  I have tried to copy the ones I like.
