The sales consultant told me about the Osmotics brand of skincare and that the Osmotics representive was coming to their store to demonstrate the products. She went on and on about the copper products and when used with a red light produced amazing results. I did not make an appointment as I knew nothing of this line. Has anyone tried this skincare line?Yes, and it's pretty good but I wanted a product with less ingredients/more copper so I chose NCN.

Have had it under a week so I cannot say if it's working but I do think my skin is looking firmer and u Just better.

That's because, as you know, copper peptides' purpose is to break down old stiff oxidized and damaged collagen in your skin. It also helps your skin turn over old scar tissue. But that means you can get layers of discoloration and scar showing up on your skin as it surfaces and cycles out. Just be aware and follow the advice of the people who got through those stages.
If you remove too much collagen before the skin has a chance to rebuild it, you can also have sagging until the skin catches up. Most of the time it rebuilds but there are some reports on the net of permanent damage from these copper peptides. I don't know if the people used too strong a product for their skin, or too much of them, but they claim to have not misused them. You should be aware of this and do your own research, and make your own decision on using these peptides. They aren't totally harmless. I believe they can firm and improve the skin, but there is also a risk that your skin may not react well to them. I don't think there's much of a problem with the Neoteric product as it doesn't contain a large amount of copper.

Blondelle, I also read this, and shied away from copper altogether. (Too many other beneficial plant extracts I would prefer delving into.)
It kind of reminds me of skin needling, that in order for it to work, you have to have good overall health. You build collagen from the inside, and we on the BB tend to forget that since we are highly into topical applications.

Thank you so much for your knowledge and suggestions. From what I have read, I think I want to start out with a product that doesn't contain a large amount of copper and go from there.
Blondelle, can you tell me the name of the Neoteric product.
Also, I'm going to check out the NCN site. It sounds like they have some wonderful products!
Thanks again for your help!

Dr. Jeanette Graf's line on HSN has some copper peptides.
At one time, I used the copper collagen infusion. It leaves your skin feeling wonderful after use.
But, she has a few products of it in her line.

He does make a copper product called SuperCop2X which I have read great reviews on. You will find more than you probably ever wanted to find on Pickart's site but you'll know what to look for and what to not combine it with once you are done.
I was planning on adding NCN's Copper serum in my next order but am going to take a closer look at SuperCop2X also.
I was reading about Copper last night on the Truth-in-Aging website and it was most interesting. I'm a bit surprised that more don't use Copper products as studies have definitely documented it's anti-aging ability on the skin.. Isomers Copper was briefly mentioned but somewhat dismissed for it's formula and effectiveness. They didn't elaborate much about it.
I'm one of the ones who hasn't felt the draw to try it, wackers. Reading Isomers "who is it for" info is always too general -- and repetitive, IMO. Maybe because relatively few are using it, but I've not seen all the rave reviews of say, Vit C or Retinol.
So, sell me on this! Why do YOU use it and what results have you seen?
Thanks!

I have the larger bottles of Isomers I bought when Manuela had the special pricing on them last year. I use it at night with some of her other products. It works great fro burns. I burned my arm while cooking & I applied it daily. The burning stopped immediately & left no scar. Sometimes I also put it on my arms. I also use it with the H Pur. Sometimes in the morning I don't feel like applying any products but I will at least use some Copper P.

For those of you who have used copper peptide products, what results have you seen?

Sorry zgirl. I've only been using NCN's copper tripeptide with EGF for about 10 days.
I use it at night and use my Vit C in the morning. Nanci says that the copper should help to balance oil secretion and reverse "smoker's lines". Those are the 2 things I'll be looking for.
I do have an old scar on the back of my heel from surgery on heel spurs. They cut the Achilles tendon. Left me with a nasty red raised scar which I've learned to live with. Maybe I'll try some copper????
