Confused about Beauty Banter

I am confused about Beauty Banter. I am a novice to social media, but am very interested in the category of Beauty. Is this not a site for QVC customers?

I expected this to be a discussion site about beauty topics - favorite QVC beauty brands, "desert island" beauty products, reviews of new items, requests for beauty advice, etc.

Why are there non-beauty topics on this site? There are also non-QVC topics posted. I am finding it very time-consuming to search through all the titles, looking for the real beauty topics.

Thanks in advance for some insight!
