Conductive Gel for Microcurrent Device

I have the SSC EGG (love it! have been using it religiously for the past few months) and am out of the conductive gel.

Is Aloe Vera gel an effective alternative?

Thanks!

Yes. I have used it with my device. Not SSC but another brand. There are many posts on the board about people using Aloe Vera Gel.

I have a NuFace, and I use clear Aloe gel as the conductive gel. Works perfectly and I have found it at Walmart in the sun protection section.

Re: Conductive Gel for Microcurrent Device

When I was using NuFace and complaining about the gel step (even aloe), Bella Carro suggested putting the aloe in a spray bottle, adding water, shaking and spritzing. It was SO much better! Just make sure you have enough aloe to keep it "conducting" :-)

She'd suggested distilled water, but someone posted we need the minerals in it to work (?) so I just used tap water and it was fine.

I have the EGG and even though I resisted for quite awhile I finally tried the aloe. To my surprise I prefer over the SSC for a number of reasons. Although the tube lasted a long time I didn't like paying the shipping and handling.
