HEP - Day 2 - my sugary treats were limited, my other snacks took their place, however, first the ton of sugar needs to be reduced. I dont count the sugar in foods.
Day 3 - pending - however, so far so good. My snacks today will be only fruits and vegetables. I just made some soup that will be my dinner tonight.
It is good I am feeling disgusted right now. It is keeping me motivated. I hope this feeling holds out for a while unti I am able to get myself going in a different direction.
20+ lbs, I am coming for you.

Sounds great! It all starts at the grocery store. If it's not in the house, you can't eat it.
Soup is always good because you can use a lot of vegetables and beans to "beef" it up.

Well!
I can stop researching electric tea kettles and corkscrews: BH ordered them without my knowledge. Found a stainless steel kettle for under $30. Yowza.
And I can breathe a little easier because the Lumene showed up today. New packaging, but the shade on the tube looked darker than the shade on the old tube. As it turns out, the color is an exact match. I put two drops on my hand and the old medium is the new medium.
Hope the formula hasn't changed!

Hiiii! How is it November already? Halloween was uneventful. The kids are getting too old to want to dress up. DD and DH went to a practice so me and DS went to a movie, Venom. It was the perfect introverts' Halloween activity. DS declared that we should do this every Halloween! It's still in the 80's here so it was nice to be in an air conditioned theatre.
November should really be NOOOOO for me. I've been taking advantage of the beauty sales. Another new Ulta opened up on the island. It's actually far for me but my dentist happens to be near it. It worked out that I have a cracked tooth and will need a crown so Ulta will be seeing me often. I took advantage of the 20% off coupon and picked up some of the Nooni Snowflake Jelly Cleansing Oil. It's so fun! I love oil cleansing and the Korean balm cleansers so good. I also picked up some Essence products because Ulta is the only place that sells this brand. It's so cheap but so far, really nice. BTW, I refuse to buy from Ulta online. There is NO free shipping to HI.
Sephora also got me in October. I'm running out of setting powder. I repressed 2 pans. Have you repressed makeup? It's fun! And if the powder is on the drier side, after repressing it's much softer and easier to use. Well, since these powders are almost gone, I bought a new Hourglass one for later. I'm currently of the mindset that if I'm going to be using only a limited amount of products, I really want to enjoy them and I'm going to try some higher end products this go-round. Haha, after I just bought the cheap Essence products (eyebrow and nail products). It takes me almost a month to finish a powder so buying one higher end powder sounds ok to me (right now). I can see myself doing the opposite next year and buying a cheaper powder. Ugh, the flip-flopping! I also picked up the Clinique Cheek Pop trio because it's such a "great value". LOL, I feel like I'm going back in time.
Well, no excuses. I'm stocking up now. Wait, one excuse. I was using gift cards.
I've been using a Stowaway lipstick that I bought last year but only started using now. It's tiny, only .05 oz while a normal lipstick is around .15 oz. Holy cow, I've been using it for 2 months straight and it's going to last me one more month. It's intense! A little too intense for me. I prefer a sheer coverage so I won't be repurchasing this. But it is a nice formula and a surprise to see the progress. I'm still using just one lippie per quarter and have been able to consistently finish 4 lippies per year. As long as I keep NOT purchasing lippies or just purchase one a year then I will be able to keep my stash current and not too old.
Have you seen the how many years of _____ product series on YouTube? It's so interesting! There's a group of ladies that have been doing how many years of eyeshadow, blush, lipstick, etc. One gal has on average 150 years of each! Wow. If you're interested in seeing how much you have, they have a formula for it. I haven't done it out of sheer fear. Do I really want to know?
I hit pan on a highlighter. It was the birthday gift from Urban Decay last year. It took over a year to do that. I am constantly amazed at how long it takes me to use up products.
BTW, @just bee I love the dragon pearl jasmine tea! Not all jasmine tea is as good as the pearls. And I love to watch the pearls unfurl in the hot water.
HEP is going horribly for me. Sugar is evil. I can't stop eating it.

Really, ladies, really. You had me at dragon. Now I had to go and order some tea. .....and ordered too much, oy vey. I am certifiable. Looks like i have to start drinking my tea now. I also ordered the cinnamon spice. I have been wanting to try that one. Those are the only ones i am admitting too.
@justbee, not sure if you ordered but there is a code on retailmenot for 10 off of thirty. You might have this one already.
Where did you folks get your dragon tea?
@Oshare-girl, I couldn’t resist that blush trio and i dont even wear blush. I bought it in October i think and haven’t used it yet. Will have to try it next week. And I wouldn’t want to know how much eyeshadow I have. I think I have enough for two lifetimes.

It's wonderful, isn't it? I had two sample sachets from Harney & Sons and I'm thinking about saving the second one for my sister's visit this week.
I didn't want to order any more tea, but I really need that scent in my life!

Harney & Sons knows I haven't ordered any tea in months and they just want to make sure I'm not dead. They keep sending me "we miss you -- here's another special offer for you" emails.
I've been ignoring them because I'm trying to use up all the strange teas I've collected. One of those was a sample of dragon pearl jasmine.
Well, they sent a $20 off a $50 order offer. I started piecing $50 worth of tea together and then discovered Paris was sold out. Now it's back in stock so I might have to order.
I can't wait for my new kettle! The Cuisinart PerfecTemp is $60 on Amazon, so if I had seen that I probably would have ordered it. BH ordered the Stainless Steel Cordless Tea Kettle with British Strix Control, 1.7-Liter, 1500W Fast Boiling, with Auto Shut-Off, BPA-Free By Deik ($26.98).
I'm drinking a mug of Hot Cinnamon Spice right now. Because I'm rationing Paris and Victorian London Fog for the days I work, I've been making a dent in my stash of this cinnamon tea. This is perfect for chilly autumn mornings and it's SWEET!
This might be just enough for that craving.
You ordered from H&S?

You gals are really tempting me with all this tea talk.
But I have enough addictions already.

Yes, @Oshare-girl, I have been trying to use up products, and I have realized that I have not hit pan in any blushes, eyeshadlows, and highlighters. And some of them I've been using for years. That is the reason that I have not been buying any blushes, eyeshadows and highlighters. And I am staying strong with NO BUY for those products for November. What I really need to be doing is a absolutely NO BUY for anhy beauty products and clothes for November. But I don't think I can do it (All those good deals and Holiday Sets!!). So, I will just stick with blushes, eyeshadows and highlighters for now.
