Get settled in, then tell us about the trip when you can. A change of scenery sounds intoxicating.

I know where she keeps her favorite red pumps. I think it's time for a little "Easter egg" hunt in her shoe closet. ![]()

@just beewrote:
Snacking is a habit and it sounds like you're modifying some habits. Auspicious April?
Intermittent fasting appears to be working for you. Do you feel like you have more energy to tackle the to-dos?
ETA:
Is the tea any better?
@just bee, exactly. Breaking the snacking habit is at the very least what I am hoping for. I have been trying to correct my sleep too because when I am tired and stressed, I don’t make the greatest decisions nor have the willpower too. It is a work in progress but headed in the right direction.
Yes, I would say my energy has increased some. I also no longer have the heartburn and no longer need tums by my side, I no longer feel bloated and weighed down, feel much lighter and no more food comas. But moreso, feeling mentally great that I am finally getting a little control over it instead of the other way around. Yes, while this hasn’t been perfect, nor do I want it to be, this works for me because I don’t eliminate any foods and have a structured eating window. I still have to right size my meals but i am making better choices as I go. It’s a work in progress. I think April will be even better.
There me were a couple of nights I lost my willpower but that only made me realize I didn’t want to revert back to the bad snacking habit so I quickly corrected my course. It has really made me think about what I am consuming and why. I can stick to this for a few months and even make it my lifestyle - maybe. Right now I am just looking to break the ties that bind.

@just bee, I keep forgetting to tell you about the tea. Yes, I think I like Paris, although not with light cream, just black. Affinia, not so much, it is okay. Not one I would repurchase. But that is my fault, I knew I didn’t like camomile so that is my thing. I can tell the tea would be fine if one was a fan. Have you grown to like Affinia?

Well, you know what they say: Change your thinking, change your life. Sounds like you have a new perspective.

I think I'd like Affinia more if I was strictly an herbal girl. I'm still working on incorporating more herbal and green teas into my routine, but if we're talkin' habits my habit is sturdy black tea -- neat.
I still like Paris but now I find myself reaching for Victorian London Fog more and more. It's that fragrance that fills the kitchen. I look forward to it.
