I've missed all of March due to a family trip but I just read the entire March thread and @geezerette, I don't want to drag this out but deepest condolences for the loss of OG.  He was as much a part of our little family as you are.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.  Bless Carla for being there and ABLE for you.  

I have a lot to share with you all but it's late here and I need to zzzzz.  @aprilskies miss you too.

@geezerette-nice to see you back and posting some more! I'm glad that you have your dog to keep you company too. Our pets are really awesome like that. I can't imagine not having a dog to talk to when I'm home alone. 

@Oshare-girl-nice to see you back too! Looking forward to hearing about your family trip.

Things have been pretty much same old, same old over here. I guess that could be considered a good thing seeing as how some of you have had pretty bad months. 

We had a couple of warmer days this past week and I finally got out in the garage on my one day off and got a small part of it decluttered. We found just a couple of things of the kids to donate but mostly tossed some dirty, outgrown toys. We still have more to do, mostly cleaning it and organizing, but I feel better at least getting a start. It's supposed to only be high's in the 30's again next week and they're calling for more snow so I don't know when it will get finished. I am still SO anxious for spring. This has been one of the longest winters ever.

I have another small pile in my bedroom to donate as soon as I get to it. I meant to do it yesterday when we were out running errands but forgot to put it in the car. Hopefully I will get it out next week. I've done small bits of decluttering here and there as we are slowly getting ready for the change of seasons. We went out shopping yesterday and got the kids new sandals so I went thru my son's shoes and found 3 pair to donate and 2 to toss. We haven't looked at their summer clothes yet because it just hasn't been warm enough to bother. I started decluttering room by room last December, and should think about making another pass thru each room pretty soon. The change of seasons is always a good time to do that, as I'm getting out summer items and putting away all the winter gear. Probably next month I'll start again.

@geezerette, Isn’t it interesting how we are stronger than we think.  Share here as much as you like.  Give that great big girl a kiss from us for taking such good care of you. And the cat cares, they just don’t show it.  They are the strong silent type. 😶🙃😆😂😂😂😂.   ....and shopping, I think it is just in my DNA. Me too with the electronic toothbrush.  My old one gave up the ghost and I went cheap on my next one a few months back only to regret it. I hate it.  

@Oshare-girl- nice to see you back.  Family trip sounds awesome.  The kids must have loved it. 

@rnmom- you are doing so good with decluttering.   I have been decluttering some and organizing. I have started to realize I really have to unload more stuff. I have been doing it as I go but....it’s slow. Yesterday, I switched all my winter clothing for spring and summer and my bedding. Who cares that they are calling for more snow tomorrow. I don’t think it is anything major. It’s April after all. My biggest knock on the head was In my quest to get rid of the bookcase.  I figured I could fit it all in a container or two, everything looks so innocent on the shelves. Well, things felt like they were multiplying.  I should have left it be but now I am committed. I want the space so I am trying not to have any regrets but i just caused myself more of a mess to deal with.  But it is time to deal with things again.   

HEP - I lost 4 lbs. I have reduced my snacking quite a bit.  I did expect more of a drop in the beginning but that’s ok, I will take it, slow but steady.  I haven’t really fit into my shorts or some tops in a few years and even my new ones got too snug. ☺️  Intermittent fasting saves me from snacking well into the evening. It hasn’t been perfect but March was my trial run so hoping April is better.  I also started exercising mildly for now. I can tell you I have had some health benefits that are keeping me inspired to keep going with IF.  

I finally got back on my Pilates machine that has been collecting dust.  The rebounder broke after a few uses, bummer.  But I am not replacing, that is the second time. But I realized all that is is a bungee cord with taped ends for loops so I will look for better one on my own. Of course it would have been smart to measure it before tossing.

I'm still pulling out items from my closets; yesterday, BH asked if I wanted to check out our local buy-sell-trade shop on Route 66 before I donate everything.

It probably wouldn't be a bad idea since I do have some unusual pieces in the piles.  The shop is in the Nob Hill area, near the university.  They're looking for spring items -- especially denim and tees.

Oh, do I have denim and tees.  I could dress the entire student body.

Snacking is a habit and it sounds like you're modifying some habits.  Auspicious April?

Intermittent fasting appears to be working for you.  Do you feel like you have more energy to tackle the to-dos?
