Omgoodness.  Feel better.  Is it possible to take a few days off?

oh my, what’s that scent your wearing my dear?

@aprilskies

I work in an ER -- the nurses aren't supposed to look worse than the patients!  I'll call the PM supervisor and run this scenario by her.  Might send a photo...

So much for making progress on that project that's due this week.

And I'm retiring those boots! Woman Tongue

Hopefully you can at least get a day or two to rest and take care of yourself.  ...and process the shock a bit.  I can’t imagine that whole experience wasn’t a bit jarring.

I took my shirt and bra off so I could wash my face before applying bacitracin and even my breasts are bruised!

I have road grime in my pores (nose and chin) that won't come out.  What a mess!

Thank God the dog didn't get run over -- I held on to his leash.

What a dumb thing to do today.  Should have had that third mug of tea...

@just beeActually the clock radio was a replacement for in my older son's room too, his clock worked but the buttons to set the alarm stopped working so it was actually something we needed. Now I just need to decide if I want to keep the old one for just an extra clock or donate it.

Re: ComPact 2017 – Never Again November!

@aprilskiesI'm already getting the e-mails and the catalogs for all of the pretty holiday sets and I can feel myself caving already. It's so early so I'm really trying to hold off but I'm not sure come Black Friday or Cyber Monday if I will be able to resist all of the great deals or not. I really don't need anything, but I might splurge just a bit. I just have to remind myself that even though the sets are beautiful, I don't need that much stuff. For example, I'm always drawn to the lip sets that are out and I have no idea why, because I rarely ever wear anything other than lip balm. Why do I need 10 glosses when I only wear them once or twice a month when I go to church? Makes no sense, but yet I'm still drawn to them. Need to be strong!!

I don't wear much when it comes to eyeshadow or lip color but even I'm captivated by some of those palettes and gift sets.

I know, though, that if I buy them they'll sit unused.  I can't wear the majority of those colors.

@rnmom

Thanks!  Me, too!

It's becoming a little more clear that I may have to stay home for a bit.  I can do some slow typing, but handwriting isn't an option.  My coworker had a good point: How can you give someone a shot?

I have trouble getting some of the meds out of those adult-proof packages -- even with two hands.

I have to call my director today.  Shoot.  Can I even drive?

JustBee, I am so sorry to hear that you have banged yourself up so badly.  Sending healing prayers and hugs.

I don't think I posted at all in October, but I have been following everyone's journey and so identify with never again.  I have sold many items from my never again stash on ebay.  I may be enabling others, but cleaning out here.  I could easily sucume to injury in my closet if the stash is not reduced.  Dearest husband has been wanting to clean out my closet so I have been painfully parting with some never again items.

Thanks to everyone for your continued vows of decluttering.  I could not do it without; with that, I apologize for lurking in the wings.

I wouldnt be too hard on yourself. I cant even tell you how many times I have had mishaps in my own home much less outside. You just never know.   I am glad it wasnt much worse and happy the worlds greatest dog is okay too. Take care of yourself.

@Beauty$Junkie

And I so identify with that!

Don't apologize for lurking.  Many of our ComPactors started out that way.  It really helps me to know that I'm not the only person who struggles with letting things go.

Do I actually believe that inanimate objects will "feel" bad if I part with them?  It sounds so silly but sometimes I wonder.
