What are you having for dinner?

That looks delicious.  ......and with a nice cold beer.  ...or soda too. I love pizza.   My mouth is watering and it is only 9 in the morning.

FindingmyJoy, sounds like you are doing great on the compacting front. That is awesome.

Just Bee, I agree, that song is beautiful.  Thanks for sharing.

I will finish out March with no mu or skincare purchases.  The only beauty item I bought was a nail polish.  that is amazing to me.  Although, I am starting to place other types of orders so I have to be careful not to fall down a rabbit hole.

I hope everyone is doing well.

We've been in Albuquerque since 1995 and it's taken us forever to find an acceptable pizza.  Convenience is just not an option.  No one delivers a great pizza.  The closest locations don't serve a great pizza.  We have to face facts: If we want a good pizza we have to leave Albuquerque and go to Corrales.  Happily it's not too far from us.  It's a nearby village that is home to -- big surprise -- Village Pizza.  Noms.  It's what's for breakfast.  It passes the cold pizza test with flying colors.  So... if you're ever in the high desert and you get a hankering for a great pizza...

The place is charming: People park their horses outside.

Just Bee - Thank you for sharing that link! That is fabulous!! I've always loved that song and that version is beautiful.

Dosey - That's great news about ysour son's future college!

I have been super busy working extra hours at work. Which led to me not wanting to stare at a computer screen on my off hours so that's why I've been missing. The extra pay is nice on my paycheck but I'm getting close to burn out. So I'm trying to squeeze in some fun here and there. The weather is getting nicer out so I'm starting to be able to go out for walks. Nice getting fresh air after being cooped up during the winter.

I'm doing fairly well with exercising more. I've started doing some weight workout dvds. My arms were really feeling it the other day. I fell for the PIYO workout dvds sold on QVC. It looked like an interesting option. I got it very quickly and just as quick, it was packed up and returned. The workouts had a bunch of poses that put a lot of weight on my wrists and I saw it really irritating them. They were also filled so much with lunges that I would never be able to force myself to do the dvds on a regular basis. I already own other yoga workouts that I like better and I know I will do.

Compacting has been going well on the beauty front. I haven't bought anything since the Paula Choice purchase at beginning of the month!

I have been buying new shoes to replace the shoes I tossed out before winter. The purchases were well thought out so no guilt about buying them and I've already tried them out enough to know they will be keepers! There was only 1 dud that was the Vionic TSV. They were cute and the black pair would have been nice for work. However, they rubbed the top of my toes so I knew I wouldn't wear them much and would have been major waste of money. They were returned. I have finally learned!!! For shoes, if there is any hesitation at all if I will wear them or if they are comfortable - they need to be returned ASAP. Prior years, I've wasted money keeping them and they would collect dust.

Sounds like you have the fever!  I love that feeling -- being energized by stepping outside and breathing the spring air and seeing the new growth.  I was watering yesterday and confirmed that all my trees and shrubs are alive.  The tree people didn't think the jujube had survived, but I never lost hope.

When I was walking the dog yesterday I spotted a mystery tree.  Bright red leaves.  I'm going to wait before I start planting again and just concentrate on what's already in the ground.  But that tree has me intrigued.  Must figure out what it is...

Have you discovered anything wonderful on your walks?  I maintain that walking is the best therapy.  Walking, eating pizza, hugging the dog and watching the bird cams!

just bee -  I used to live by a bar where they would "park" their John Deere's and their horses.
