Happy Sunday! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

I am taking a break from working on my living room ORC to let you know that even a year after you thought you knew all the beauty products you had were accounted for...you may be wrong! {#emotions_dlg.scared}

While going through a box of old letters and correspondence of all sorts, I unearthed a lip balm I think I got when I was in the hospital sometime. Years ago. I know I did not buy it. And I have no clue why it was in that box.

I also found a shampoo/conditioner sample from the Dove company. It had been sent in a folded stiff envelope. The date was sometime in 2007. lol... Tossing the sample. Geez, what else am I going to find??? {#emotions_dlg.blink}

I'm going to end up with a ton of papers to shred. I might take the month of July off work to get the shredding down... lol... Not nearly that bad but it will take some time. I know I have a huge box filled with official papers to get rid of though...wish I had a huge back yard with a fire pit about now!

I'm also making as many trips to take out trash as possible today. I want my Fitbit to know I have not forgotten it! I'll take a long walk in a bit. It supposedly feels like it is 97 outside today even though it is a cool 90 degrees. lol... I am hoping for some rain to cool things down a bit before I go walking.

So, this weekend, I was washing some kale to make some kale chips and thought, I hate drying this stuff, it takes forever (I know, I know such serious problem I have here) but an annoyance of mine nonetheless. So, then I thought hmmm, how about using the salad spinner that has been sitting there for the last 7 years untouched. So I dusted it off. Good thing I didnt donate this thing as I intended. LOL. I just wish it didnt take up so much of my precious real estate. Lesson of the day: things arent bad to have if you just use them.

Dosey, I am with you on the product buying. I just got through with a couple rounds of buying and have no idea what got into me. I realized though, this happens to me every year at this time. It is strange. I do love trying new things though and that is my problem but when you do you use it all. I dont even use the things I have. So, I havent quite conquered this yet. And i agree, products dont turn out as I expect them. I suppose I still am looking for those wow products for me.

Kathie66, I am so glad your dog was okay. How traumatic for all of you. I am impressed you guys knew what to do. I would of been beside myself. All the stuff I thought I knew would of gone out the window. I am not so good in these situations. LOL. I am glad things turned out okay. Poor thing though, in the eyes, that is rough.

Yesterday I finally finished a "Franken Bottle" of shampoo that was a conglomeration of many, many hotel sized shampoos that my Better Half picked up while traveling. So this morning I starting using an old bottle of Arbonne shampoo.

I went for a haircut today. This is about the third or fourth time I had this particular stylist.

She asked what I was using on my hair (never asked before). I told her about using the Arbonne shampoo for the first time (she never heard of it). I thought UH OH, something's wrong. I asked her if it felt funny or different. She said it was soft! I had to laugh to myself because I've had this shampoo since before I moved here in 2006! I didn't tell her that though!{#emotions_dlg.laugh} Working at a hair salon, I'm sure she wouldn't understand. But I'm sure some of you can...

Still good after all these years!{#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

I've been on a trip but have returned. I'm trying to hit the senior fitness center early in the morning as I spend an hour there on the recumbent bike. They have all types of fitness equipment so there is no fitness clutter in my house now except for exercise bands. I've been doing the 15 minutes of focus, and it is amazing what can be accomplished with such small goals. The problem is that this is an on-going process. If what comes in is not dealt with then before one realizes it, the bunny rabbits of clutter have started multiplying. I'm now dealing with mail, etc. as it comes in and get rid of what I don't need immediately.

I forgot about the 15 mins and need to get back to it. It really does help. I think I am trying to do too much at once and it worked better when I concentrated on one thing. It seemed more doable. I am about to make another donation and want to make one last sweep and pull out other things I can put in the pile.

The product purchasing is still a work in progress for me. Every time I think I have it licked, I seem to go through another cycle and think I am only adding a few things and realize I am back where I started in not knowing what to use first. And, whats even worse I dont want to use it. But, I am going to organize it and start using one at a time again. oy vey. I noticed I seem to go through this cycle around this time of year and I am not sure why. So, I have to start thinking through my purchases again. Crazy.

I hope everyone is doing well.
