Other changes I've made is to stop buying books especially cookbooks. If I need a recipe I go online. I'm also using the library more.
I no longer hoard food either. I shop for a week or two & that's it.
I bought a couple of things this weekend. I bought a Vera Bradley travel bag because I always use my sister's carry on so I figure since it was 60% off might as well. I also bought a Colleen Lopez necklace box. I needed that because my necklaces are in little boxes all over the place.
The only thing I think I might need next year will be underwear. I've just discovered lola's fashion solutions thread so I'll follow her & learn how I should ¨remix¨ my clothes.

Hello Compactors!
Yikes, I think this is my first post this month! Sorry. I'm still in.
It is pretty easy for me to keep the holidays simple. Family is scattered all over. I got something simple for my close family members & talked myself out of spending a tons. - Yes the expensive jacket would have been a fun gift to give but he has lots of jackets. Gift cards for teens who have everything already really don't need to be for lots of money.
I bought 3 SKINN kits recently & I am pleased with all of them. Two kits included products I tried before, liked a lot (Dermappeal & Eye Stem Rejen) and have been w/o for many months. The third kit was new skincare, not like things I already have.
I'm fine with these purchases & don't have a stockpile of products to use up. I just need to be careful about not buying too many products now or I'll end up with more than I can use. With the exception of a BOGO deal on something I use regularly, I don't want a stockpile at all. That will be my big challenge for 2015.
I am till losing & dropping sizes so I will need to buy lots of clothing next year as my size changes. Once I stop losing I will have a big challenge - how to build a quality wardrobe that will last but not buy in excess?

Since we weren't sure about things, I had been very good with spending. I was worried I would go crazy when he got the offer, but there's nothing I want or need. I have actually been getting excited by using up what I have. This board has definitely helped me! A big thank you to all of you for helping each other with the compacting this year!
Oh, that's such good news!

Today is the first day of Christmas break -- that's two weeks without homework. I feel like I'm ten years old again!

That makes a huge difference.
