Thanks Just Bee for this monthly thread. I love the posts, especially #5.

#1 really made me laugh. Full boxes, empty boxes and boxes of boxes. Better Half and I were just having this discussion. He thinks I should get rid of most of them. But, but, but, what if I need one that size??? {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Well, this month I'm sticking with trying to have more going out than coming in.

I'm also going to try to spend 15 minutes a day decluttering. I'm also going to try to clean more. I just can seem to get a system that I stick with.

And, since I have so many accounts and/or and websites that have passwords, log-ins, pin #s, etc. I'm going to create a list. I have a notebook at the ready.

Stay strong Everyone!

Just Bee- thanks for all of your posts. My daughter and 10yo granddaughter have moved in with me and you want to talk about clutter....

Right after they moved in we all packed up and went to the beach. I'm still unpacking. The move happened rather quickly due to a job change and I didn't have much time to prepare. I moved a bunch of stuff from an extra bedroom into my room where it sits on the floor just begging to get organized. I'm hoping things settle down after she goes back to school and I have more time to work on the house.

A friend of mine and her husband had an adult daughter and a granddaughter living in their small house for years. Their lives were really disrupted. My friend was the full-time babysitter. Just recently the daughter met someone and she and the little girl have moved out. My friend's world has changed.

She and her husband took back the bedroom and bath and completely remodeled the space. She emailed photos; I told her the rooms were like a Spanish monastery. No clutter, so minimalistic. And that's precisely the look she was going for.

Now I'm re-inspired to tackle my own space and get that Spartan thing going. My pledge for the month is to part with at least one item per day. I'd been doing that and then I just stopped. Need to keep that going -- it was working.
