Are you saying you forgot to grind up Xanax and put it in their hot cocoa last night? {#emotions_dlg.sneaky}

Lol. Feeling sleepy mom. That's okay dear, drink the rest of your cocoa.

Didn't Rhoda Penmark's mother put "vitamins" in her apricot nectar?

Dear Lord, that girl needed a little something something in her nectar.{#emotions_dlg.lol}

Rhoda is the reason why I never had children. Lord of the Flies sealed the deal. {#emotions_dlg.sneaky}

Well, the end of April is just about here.

I did fairly well this month.

As for my stockpiles, I had more coming in than going out. A few purchases were made, but most of the items that came in were given to my Better Half.

I completed my OCR. I cleaned every drawer and cabinet in my kitchen, sorted out some items for donation, and polished the outside of the cabinets.

So, on to May...

Eager2learn - sounds like you are really doing well with your ORC. Mine has come to a standstill but I am not giving up. All my paperwork is now on my kitchen table and will stay there until I deal with it. 3 bins are out in the open so I can start to go through them although I may put 2 away for now. I just get overwhelmed looking at it all so easy does it. Plus it looks too messy.

I have had more products come in then out and am having a hard time recommitting to the PACT, but I am making an effort to be mindful and think I am through the worse of it. I am also back to putting items in front of me so I can use them. I forget about them.

I get so close to just tossing it all, collectibles and all, and start fresh but won't let myself. I have sold a couple of things but some just were not worth the effort by the time I was done with the cost of shipping. But that is okay, at least, I am trying.I need to put some more things up for sale. I just find that to be an effort so it's a slow process. But the turtle wins the race, right?

In May, I think I have to set a goal for myself. I do better when I have a specific goal. So I will go back to targeting some products and use that 15 min guideline for handling paperwork.

Sometimes I think I should just buy a cheap kitchen timer and go from room to room with it. Fifteen minutes to shred paper in this room, 15 minutes to dust electronics in that room, 15 minutes to wipe down counters in this room, 15 minutes to straighten here, 15 minutes to disposition junk mail there.

Four rooms = 1 hour.

This is really not a bad idea. Instead of purchasing a timer (clutter {#emotions_dlg.lol}), use your new ultra smartphone to set up alarms for different times. You might as well put that thing to work. {#emotions_dlg.lol} Mine allows me to set up multiples and indicate which days. Hmmm, maybe I will set some up for saturdays. I have been somewhat doing this lately because my attention span hasnt been great, but setting an alarm would be better and keep me at something even longer.
