@Natureluvr Is the product you are using some version derived from glaucoma drops? I must use drops to keep my eye pressure in check, but my lashes are beautiful. The eye pressure drops cause significant redness to develop.
I think you are correct to stop using them. Hopefully, the redness will fade away, but it may take time.
Wear mascara or false lashes. Nobody needs this redness if they can avoid it.

Yep, those eyelash growth serums definitely make the skin around your eyes red. But are you using it on your bottom lashes? I think I read you were only supposed to use it on the top. But have I been guilty of applying to the lower lashes once in a while? Well, maybe.

I don't think Revitalash contains a Prostaglandin which acts the same way as the active ingredient in Latisse. RapidLash used to and it worked great for me, but then the FDA bullied them into removing it, and it no longer works. There are several others that do still use one and for some reason they haven't been pushed by the FDA to remove it. GrandeLash is one of them. Anything with a Prostaglandin in it can have the exact same side effects as prescription Latisse even though it may come from a natural source.
I'm using Careprost now which is generic Latisse and I get a little itching of the lash line, but that's it. It works okay for me, but not as good as the old RapidLash did.

Yikes. I thought only the prescription Latisse caused discoloration but maybe Revitalash does too! I only apply to upper lashes but sometimes a little gets on my lids.
@Natureluvr, I can only speak about the two brands I have used and both have made the skin red on my upper eyelids. I noticed it right off the bat. I've used GrandeLash and X-Lash Pro. I've never noticed any redness on the bottom, though. Sorry I don't have any recommendations for a concealer for the redness. I've tried some here and there but I just don't use them all that much.

Revitalash contains a synthetic prostaglandins analogue which can cause redness/darkening of the skin around the eyes just like regular prostaglandins used in Rx lash-growth serums. Don't use it on your lower lashes and wipe away any excess if you get it anywhere else except where it's suppose to go... on the upper lash area only.
I use Careprost (generic Latisse) and I do get some redness on my lower waterline and sometimes the skin just below it. I found that by using Lumify, applied with a liner brush to my waterline and just below it, takes care of the redness for a good part of my day.
