Anyone familiar with this? One of the nurses had it on. It's very pretty but in the sunlight it,'s holographic. She said on the beach many people asked what it was.

/first world problems/

I had a mood-changing nail polish on once.  (It was really temperture-changing.)  I only liked one of the two colors.

@fluffysmom I assume the nurse was wearing a polish from one of the Color Club Halo Hues collections. I love linear holographic polishes and at one point planned on getting one or more colors. At this point I have SO many linear holos from various indie brands that I no longer foresee myself buying any of them. But people do seem to like them, so I would certainly try out one or two if you are interested.

@Peaches McPhee Pretty much anything discussed on a beauty board could be classified as a "first world problem."

Color changing polishes (whether heat or light sensistive) are very different from the various types of holographic polishes out there. For the exact reason you stated, it's always good to be sure you are at least ok with both color states of a color changing polish. Color transition has a limited lifespan and you usually don't know which will be the final color state of the polish.
