If I remember correctly, years ago I had my colors done and think I was a Spring and soft Autumn or was it Soft Spring and Autumn. One of them was a "soft." Not sure what those colors are anymore.

@JudyL I'm guessing it is Spring and Soft Autumn. That is what I am. I have very pale skin with a warm undertone and hazel eyes. I look best in yellow, gold, orange, warm peach, camel, etc.

years ago I met with a color consultant , job related. I was actually quite surprised a colors I had never thought about. Really. We kinda stick to same old, same old eye and lip colors that work...at least I do. It is so expensive and troublesome to just go buy several at once and try. I do find most color cosulatants have several brands they work with, but they usually are clean, affordable to higher end.
as a person with longer, curly red hair I had never thought of some colors, I was amazed. Whole new attitude. Took what I had that worked, and just added a variety to choose from.

@gtx - Thats interesting because I have light neutral skintone with blue eyes. With some foundations I can be light medium neutral. I do tend to lean towards warmer colors but not yellow or camel. I have worn yellow but it's got to be a buttery yellow not a bright yellow.
Added: I just Googled a Soft Autumn color palette and those colors are what I usually gravitate towards more so than Spring colors.

so today I went to Ulta to buy a pressed powder foundation in a cool tone. The associate matched me with several brands. Apparently I have expensive taste because the shade and finish that I thought looked best was Estee Lauder. 😁 along with a 40% off EL lipstick in a nude shade.
At the checkout, the young lady there said wow the color of your shirt looks beautiful on you! So sweet. I had on a tee in a cool tone periwinkle color. From the summer palette, as I look at what @monicakm posted. Most of the colors on there are ones that I wear often.

Hi, @Trinity11 ! Thank you for posting this! I downloaded the app and did my analysis and am a Cool Summer. Funny but I gravitate to most of the colors that apply except for winter time when jewel tones prevail. The results weren't a surprise actually. I'd done a consult with a beauty expert at RMS BEAUTY to select a shade for their SPF 50 she told me my shade was Cool Beige, reiterated by Chat GPT.

Hi, @monicakm ! Turns out I'm a Cool Summer, too. Thank you for posting the chart! Do you have trouble about selecting colors for you coloring to wear in the colder seasons(s)? I'm in Vegas so winter is short but can be cold.

I fell down that rabbit hole! Kinda fun. I had my colors done when I was a teen (tagged along with my mum and aunt) and I still have the swatch book that’s about 40 yrs old! I was a “summer” then, and there wasn’t any light summer, etc. sub groups - but I wrote down “light colors” in my swatch book. I was expecting light summer but chat gpt classified me as a light spring. Maybe I’ve become more sallow as I age…
Be careful @Fluke67. I was typed initially as a Soft Summer but then Soft Autumn. My husband says the first analysis is right because my hair has an ashy tone and my eyes are definitely not warm.
Maybe you still are a light summer and the lighting was just off. Good luck!

The weird part for me is that I prefer yellow gold, at least in my past. I'd never had lavender in my clothing until last year. Perhaps our seasons change more significantly as we age. ???
