I don't know if I've asked this already, but is it ok for my cat to lick coconut oil off my hand?

I don't know, but I had coconut oil on my face, and my cat almost tackled me to the ground to lick it off.

Do the math.

I have read it is beneficial for many animals including cats, dogs, horses. But have read that "when beginning to supplement your pet’s diet with coconut oil, start slow and increase gradually. Giving too much coconut oil too soon can cause digestive and detox issues".

This made me think of the time our dog licked me right after I had applied Tea Tree oil to my scalp. The look on her face---AND her hasty retreat made me think that it was not so good for her. Was more careful after that!

How do you like the coconut oil?
