I have been using Chanel skincare the last couple of years, with some Clarins, Lancome thrown in the mix. I am just going through a skin change where my skin is getting drier, more sensitive, more redness etc...and I am really fed up with the heavy perfumes in my skincare items....Chanel is AWESOME for the ingredients/formula but there is soooooo much perfume.

So I was at the mall last week browsing the makeup counters and I went over to clinique for the extra mild toner. This is something I have been reading about, and it's highly rated on my beauty boards. It is alcohol/witch hazel free but it does have a low amount of sal acid as well as vitamins/conditioning ingredients. The girls also gave me some big samples of the foaming cleanser, cream cleanser plus the moisture surge gel moisturizer. I have been using them this week (plus the toner I bought) and I cannot believe my eyes, my skin really is looking better. My pores are looking clear too! I love the foaming & creamy cleanser plus everything is UNSCENTED! They clean well without drying plus take off my waterproof mascara all in one step. Plus I am loving the moisture surge, it feels really fresh and light and I love gels.

My Chanel foaming cleanser is almost out and I am thinking about switching to the clinique one.

Am I crazy to be thinking about going back to clinique after all these years (that yellow stuff made me breakout sooooo bad years ago). Have they stepped up their game? It seems like the products are more sophisticated now. Who else uses Clinique? Any thoughts?
