I really loved it and was getting ready to order my third bottle when a friend recommend Garnier cleaning oil. I tried it and I like it even better than Josie Maran's. I put it on a dry face and wet my clarisonic with warm water and use it on top of the oil My face feels wonderful after. And the best part, it's only around $8 and I can get it at Walgreens. Great stuff. The Garnier oil has mineral oil as the first ingredient.
I saw the Garnier cleansing oil at Target for $5.99 and yes, mineral oil. But if you like it and it works for you, it's inexpensive. Now, Shu Uemura and SK-II, also mineral oil both cost $60. I personally wouldn't spend $60 on mineral oil cleansing oils.

Tatcha is the first cleansing oil I've ever used and I love it. I order the oil alone for $48 at www.barneys.com. Their shipping is free.

Oils were not helping the nail bed. This really has helped. On 2/22/2014 BellaCarro said:On 2/22/2014 MarbellaSpain said:Now, I just need to find something for my nails....weak, thin, breaking. The reviews for Perfect Formula are not very good.
Thanks for the suggestions.
Marbella, I found something very nice at Whole Foods by NutraNail. It's a serum in a polish looking bottle. It soaks right into the nail and cuticle. After the first use I saw dryness on my actual nail improve. I've been using it for about two weeks and have seen a big improvement. They have two items for nail strength/growth. One had some ingredients that didn't send me over the moon but this one did. They also have a cuticle remover. I tried it and was underwhelmed. I found it along a wall of skincare. I will re-purchase this.
Is it the NutraNails, Naturals, Nail Growth Serum? I googled, iherb has this for $5.76. If this is it, for $6, I'm willing to try. It says can be used with or without polish. Thanks for the suggestion!

ShiningStar~ As to your original question, I have combo/oily skin and some large pores and I have been following the recs made by JeanLouiseFinch. I am using and will finish the Tatcha cleansing oil and rice enzyme powder and will then move on to the Dr. Young's and the Fleur de Liz products. I have purchased the Mad Hippie Vit. C serum, their face cream, and the antioxidant facial oil. I am also using the Thayers witch hazel toner that she recommended. I purchased at Iherb because they were having a sale and they also give a discount for first time customers. What I have experienced so far, is really smooth soft skin that feels neither dry or oily, just balanced with no redness or irritation, which other products have caused for me in the past. I hope you have found something that works great for you. ![]()
JeanLouiseFinch~ Thanks again for the bringing these products to my attention. I am curious about the SPF product you use. I would hate to throw something into the mix that would cancel out all the healthy benefits of the oil and peptide products that I am loving. I would be grateful for any suggestions.

I've used DHC for years at night. It removes all make-up and doesn't bother my eyes. I always buy 2 when it's on sale and it lasts forever! Good luck on your hunt!

Hi ceegee - you're so welcome. I only hope you love them as much as I do and have great success with your routine. BTW, do you use any AHA products or Retin-A? I use them, but not at the same time - AHA in the morning and prescription Retin-A a few nights a week. Anyway, according to the product info on the MH website, the inclusion of Ferulic Acid and Vitamin E in the mix of the Vitamin C serum and the inclusion of Vitamin E and Grape Seed Extract in the Face Cream provide some UV protection. I also use a BB/CC cream with SPF. Keep me posted on how everything is working for you!

Hi JeanLouiseFinch~
Things are working out really well with my new products. I wish I had tried them sooner! I do have a question about the AHA actually. I use the rice and enzyme cleanser in the AM followed by the Thayers alcohol free toner. Which comes next in your opinion, the Vutamin C serum or the AHA? I have some alph hydoxy 10% gel. Would this work? It is probably about two years old though. If it is too old I will order the 12% souffle. I need to research this online. I may call the Neoteric company to ask. As far as Retin-A, no I don't use it because I do not have a prescription. I do use PTR retinal fusion PM treatment but I am not sure how that compares. I assume from what I can remember reading, that i would use either the AHA or the retinol on altering days. I have an entire tube of Stivectin-TL eye serum that I am thinking of using up but I will have to see because I think it may be irritating to my eyes. I used to use the 100% Pure caffeine eye serum and I really liked that so I may be purchasing the eye cream you mentioned as it sounds similar. Thanks for your helpful advice. I feel as though I am finally getting where I want to be with my skin, finally!! I love the ingredient deck it the antioxidant serum, wow. ![]()

Hi ceegee2,
I'd kind of wonder about your AHA gel after this long, too. If you like a gel product better than the Souffle, it's a matter of one being 10% and the other 12% - not a whole lot of difference. I used the gel last summer and liked it. Most likely, I'll return to it this summer.
My AM routine is:
Fleur de Lis Rice & Papaya Enzyme Powder (no pre-cleansing)
Thayers Toner
MH Vitamin C Serum
Alpha Hydrox Souffle or 10% Gel
MH Eye Cream
MH Face Cream
Once in awhile, like 2-3x/month, I'll skip the Fleur de Lis and exfoliate with Cure Aqua Gel. I got away from that for awhile, but missed it.
My PM routine is:
Dr. Young Camellia Deep Cleansing Oil
Thayers Toner
Retin-A (about 3x/week)
Shea Terra Argan & Green Coffee Around-the-Eye Serum (not sure I'll stick with this. I like it, but am tossed about using two eye products, if just one will suffice. If I give it up, I'll replace it with the MH Eye Cream)
MH Antioxidant Facial Oil
