Love Clarisonic. However! This is my second time with issues. Returning not working properly. Suffice to say, Frustrated. Wonder? Should i bypass Mia2 purchase Mia3? Smart profile looks interesting. Then I'm wondering! Should I even bother trying again? I'm very careful with my products, Nothing I did. Has anyone else experienced problems with clarisonic? TIA💁

@Sweet_Serenity - your story isn't the first time I've read of Clarisonics going bad.  Maybe you should give the Foreo Luna Dupe a try.  For less than $20 you might discover you like it.

Hi JeanLoise! I have a question. I have the Miami and got tired of mold issue on the brush heads-and the expense of replacing them. When HSN was selling the Foreo Luna mini, I bought it and love it.

Is the dupe full sized and does it have the same features?

Thanks,

@Poodlepet2  I would not have known you had a question, had I not clicked back into this thread.  If you want to alert someone that you're speaking to them, you may find it beneficial to use the tagging feature, by typing the "@" symbol and using the pop-up to select the person you want to address.  They will be alerted in their notifications box.  I say this not to chide you, but to help in case you didn't know how to access that feature.

Anyway, the original Foreo Luna Mini that I had was the genuine article and came from HSN.  It bit the dust right around a year.  The dupe I found on Amazon is larger, more in line with a full size Foreo Luna and shaped similarly, although there are other dupes shaped a little differently too.  The dupe I have has all the same features - made from silicone, holds a charge for a long time, has adjustable speeds and an internal timer, and can be found in an assortment of colors.

my last two  died on me suddenely, I invested in a FOREO  on HSN for $60 and never looked back.  No replacement heads... no bacteria buildup... only charge it maybe once every 5 months.

I had one Clarisonic that the mechanism that makes the brush spin stopped working. I had to defect that one to the trash can as it was a week after warranty ran out LOL. Smiley Happy I have a new one Mia and also have the Foreo Luna which is going on 3 years old and working fine.  The new Mia seems to be working great so far.

@Sweet_Serenity I have both the dupe and the Clarisonic and I like them both. I think there is a need or use for both. I don't wear full makeup often as I work from home but when I do I love my Clarisonic. I remove my makeup with JM cleansing oil then I use another cleanser with my Clarisonic. My face feels super clean but not stripped. On a daily basis though the Forest dupe is good. I also use the Clarisonic with the pore cleanser from Skinn. I wouldn't invest in the expensive Clarisonic though. I just have the basic one. Worst part is having it charged when I need it.

I have had to return my Clarisonic Plus at least three times because it would not charge. This always happened about a year after getting it, all three times.  Each time, Clarisonic sent me a refurbished one and I had to send back the one that wasn't working.  That was until the last time when the lady told me that the refurbished one that they were sending me only had a 90 day warranty and that was the best that they could do.  I don't think that I would spend the money again for a Clarisonic Plus.  I do have a Mia 2 that I've had for about 4 years and it works fine.  Since I don't use the Clarisonic Plus much in the shower, I think the Mia 2 is about all that I really need.

I must have been lucky.  My original Clarisonic Pro which is ancient ia still going strong.  The mia which ai use for travel is doing quite well also.

wonder why as I use one or the other every day.
