You just never know with some of this stuff.  Some will last multiple years and then you get a lemon that konks out without warning.

I've had mine well over 12 years and it's still working. I thought about the Mia but decided against it. I'll just wait until mine dies and will probably replace with a regular size Clarisonic. I see they also have one for men. I don't know why mine has lasted so long but I do remove it after its charged. I do not let it be plugged in for any time other than charging it. Maybe that adds to its long life.

I bought a Mia 2 on 11/24/14, and it almost lasted 10 mos.  I didn't even use it every day.  I definitately won't be re-purchasing. Happy for all those whose who have had good luck with theirs.

I think you made the right decision to buy the TSV. It is a great price for 2. I have had mine for years and it is great.

I have two, one small and a larger one, that are 4 years old and with no problems.  I really like this product.  Even if mine broke tomorrow, I would repurchase it.  I use at least one of them daily.

Breaking after 9 months has got to be under warranty. I hope you returned it or exchanged it. (Mine has lasted 6 years, still going strong)

Actually, I thought it was out of the warranty period after 90 days. Apparently, it is one year if you register it after purchase.  Glad I did!  I just called their support line. They were very helpful, and I'm going to return it for repair or replacement.  That makes me feel better about the product knowing the company will stand behind it.

I had one Clarisonic for years and then bought another which lasted 1 day after the warranty expired. (I think was 2 years but forgot) So I guess is like everything else....get a not-so-good one in the batch now and then. I think is a lovely thing to buy them,
