I've had three Clarisonic brushes. Recently I had a Clarisonic Plus that was maybe 8 months old and it worked fine every single day until one day it just stopped working. I never remove it from the dock except to wash my face. It was charged but when I went to use it, the brush vibrated but no longer oscillated. So, I went and bought a new Clarisonic Plus from QVC a BRAND NEW ONE. And it doesn't work at all. I tried different outlets throughout my house and it doesn't work on any of them. WTHeck!! I have other devices that I've plugged into the outlets that take more power than a Clarisonic Plus and all the other devices work fine. Why is this happening? I tried using the new brushes, old brushes, acne brushes. NONE of them work right. It just vibrates, no change in speed when I click the button, no oscillation. Smiley Sad

Is this an item that you just received recently. Simply call Customer Service and tell them that the item is ""defective"" and you want to return it at no cost to yourself. The policy is that they will not charge you if an item is ""defective"".

As to whether you want to buy another one - that's up to you.

I have an older Clarisonic and it's still working - knock on wood. Smiley Happy

I have had the same Clarisonic for years. I would contact QVC about the one you most recently purchased and if you have one that stopped working properly after 8 months, I would contact Clarisonic directly.

Mine stopped oscillating.

It turned out to be a build up of "goop" (cleansers) under the brush.

I took it apart, scrubbed everything with an old toothbrush, and it works great. I have had it for many years...one of the originals!

Alternatively, call Clarisonic customer service.

FYI..........You do have to remove the brush head and clean it and underneath regularly. I clean mine every night and have had zero problems for 7+ years.

Make sure you are buying the REAL Clarisonic brush heads and not counterfeits.

I'm so glad I read this thread. I have a Clarisonic Plus since 2009. I had a problem with it the 1st month I had it. It wouldn't hold a charge. Clarisonic gladly took it back and gave me a new one. Well i have to say that I have to Charge this one way more than I have to charge my MIA..but with that said..lately it seems to not ossilate as good as it use to and then yesterday I went to use it and it was DEAD.... OK I gave it a full charge and it was working...BUT now it wasn't beeping every 20 seconds like it use to. I thought oh well..it's on it's way out..Well I read the post about CLEANING IT OUT..So, I just took it and CLEANED THE BRUSH HEAD and the INSIDE and to my surprise it is WORKING ...for now.....

With any of the clarisonics do not charge until it dies. Keeoing it on the dock is probably what happened.

@kelekia  Give the Pop Sonic Leaflet a try.  No need for refilling brushes and it is wonderful on the skin and cleans out the pores.  It also massages the skin on the opposite side.  Best gadget I ever bought for my facial skin.

after throwing away two non working clarisonics and a non working nutrasonic, i switched over to the foreo luna and the popsonic leaf. they are low maintenance and work so well and are more gentle than the clarisonic. no problems at all.
