When someone posted that the Clarisonic gave her broken capillaries, I was skeptical. I was sure it would never happen to me.
But guess what! Last night as I was cleansing my face with my Clarisonic, I felt an odd pulling sensation on my cheek--something like being snapped with a rubber band. That was exactly the area I was going over with the Clarisonic at the time. When I looked, there was an unmistakable purple vein mark on my face.
Apparently, broken capillaries in the face do *not* heal themselves...ever. Professional laser treatments can help with the appearance, but they will also make you more prone to getting new broken capillaries later. That means I'm basically stuck with this on my face for life. Suffice it to say, I'm UPSET!
I haven't decided whether to stop using my Clarisonic. I love it so much, I'm tempted to just use it on a lower setting. But if I get another broken capillary, I think I'm going to cry.
What do you ladies think? Has anyone else had this problem? AHHHH!!
