That is strange that it doesn't have an indicator light. I have the Mia 2 and just checked to see where the light it - the light completely surrounds the "on/off" button and stays lit while in use. Then when it is charging it blinks...when fully charged it stays lit. I know the Mia 2 goes on good sales and i would pay a lot more for this feature. I never unplug it until it is fully charged to maintain the battery, so I like to see the light stop flashing so that I know when that is.

If customer service does not know call the Clarisonic company and explain your situation that qvc may not know and maybe they will take the unit you have with copy of receipt and give you an exchange from them. Years ago I had a situation with my unit and they were wonderful to deal with. Remember there is a warranty and you still want the deal. HTH.
