Wow, I already received my item. I used it and have to say, I'm not impressed yet. I don't have real problems with the bottom of my feet so maybe I will have to give the device a chance to deliver.

If you've received yours and used it, what do you think?

It looks inviting, as I have very bad feet. But, I go to Nordstrom spa for pedicures and have bought the Gehwol Swiss file and it works great. Only problem is I need to do it every day. I'm wondering if I could get by only using the Clarisonic pedi, as recommended, twice a week?

Also, I hate buying stuff that takes more up space and needs to be maintained.

BTY: Nordstrom spa will not be using this device for their pedicures. The issue is cleanliness and having to clean the device for each customer. However, I think it's just a matter of time. They just need to purchase many of the 'brush' heads and change them out with each customer and sterilize the used ones. IMO, of courseSmiley Happy

Clarisonic a must for the face----not so much for the feet!! I regularly buff my feet in between pedis so didn't see the need to spend that kind of cash. Plus brush heads for it must be pricey and prob need to be replaced more often.

Every 6 mos. it is recommended to change the pedi brush heads. $27/each.

I only saw one presentation of it but from what I gathered, it is more of a long term solution, rather than, say, like the emjoi where you almost get instant gratification. The Pedi host said that this was a "better" way to take care of calluses, etc because supposedly using the quick easy emjoi causes the skin to thicken quicker, etc so gradually removing the thickened or dry skin supposedly will prevent that from happening.

Now, whether or not any of that is true, I have no idea but this is what he was saying. {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

So I don't think you are suppose to see instant MAJOR results but it is more of an over time, long-term kind of results.

Is this very abrasive, or is it a brush more like the regular Clarisonic? It seems so expensive for a unit only to be used on the feet.

Of course it will be abrasive as it's meant to exfoliate all the callouses on your feet. Similar to a foot file you use manually. Only this is not manual, obviously.

If you have lots, of callouses and use a foot file everyday, it is tempting.

Well I guess if ladies aren't happy with the unit they can always return it.

Yes, that's a great service by QVC.
