Clarisonic-Bad "Customer Service" -Need an alternative

My clarisonic mia died (refused to charge) after 8 months. I called clarisonic customer service and was on hold for 16 plus minutes before I gave up and hung up. Called right back and got a message that they were closed!

I sent an email detailing the problem-no response. I expected better.

The problem is it really did help with my acne so I need something.

Does anyone know of a cheaper alternative that works?

Thanks!

Checkout drugstore dot com for a Pretika Sonic Cleansing Brush. I've had mine for a year and a half and it's never let me down. It holds a charge for a long time. I was using it nightly when I first started, but not so much the last few months since my routine has changed. Even so, the other day I wondered what it would be like to use it with my cleansing oil. After just sitting in the stand untouched/unused for so long, it still was charged up and ready to go.

The model I have is the one that's around $40 bucks and has the sonic/vibrating technology. There's another one (new style) for around $60 that rotates and pivots.

Please try again tomorrow, during their hours of operation. I've found their customer service to be excellent.

TJs, Marshalls also carry Pretika Sonicdermabrasion brushes, $30. I've had several and found them to last just about 6 months each time. However, I could not tell any difference between them and a Mia.

I called Clarisonic CS last week about the unit my daughter got as a Christmas present not holding a charge. I was in the que for 40 minutes!!!!! Kept saying there was a higher call volume than usual. I had it on speaker phone while I was folding laundry. That said, the Mia was still under warranty and the rep handled it as hoped...a new one was shipped out the next day.

The Clarisonic Mia has a one-year warranty on it. (If it's the Mia2, it has a two-year warranty.) Do not let the long wait time on the CS phone stop you from getting a free replacement (and the warranty on the new one starts from the day you receive it!). There were clearly some defective ones sent out.

I had two Clarisonic Mias previously - one is still going strong after four years and the other died prematurely. When I couldn't get anywhere with Clarisonic (except for them offering to sell me a replacement at a reduced price), I wrote to both them and QVC. QVC's corporate office resolved the issue for me and gave me a full refund. (Clarisonic didn't even respond.)

If Clarisonic tries to stonewall you, contact QVC directly. The retailer is also responsible.

What about the Foreo Luna mini? It's rec'd good reviews. Sorry I can't post a link. On my iPad. But, I agree that you should not give up on a replacement.

I had my last two clarisonics replaced with speed and great customer service. That is surprising to hear how you were treated. I guess the bigger they get, the bigger their britches get.....they forget who got them where they are today...the faithful customer!
