icezeus: My experience from watching Dr. Rob on QVC is not to do this, let the battery run down before charging. Of course you can, but I've heard it's not the best & can/will shorten life span.

I bought my Mia in 2009 and so far it works and charges like it did when I first bought it.  I use it until I hear the two warning beeps and then I put it on the charger.  I like using it but not sure if I would get another when this dies.  Sometimes I think I will and other times it's nah.

I have the original Clairsonic brush! I have no idea how old it is.  Also, the later edition that was both for the face and body died after several years.  I don't see this one shown any longer.

Is there a way of removing the rechargeable battery from the Clarisonic & getting a new one?

I read that each time any rechargeable battery is used it depletes it a tiny bit; as time goes by, there is no more recharging capability on that battery & a new one should be installed (if possible).
