Chaz's Brushes

I just ordered chaz's brushes. Right now I'm using a typical round brush when I blow dry. Do the boar bristle brushes really smooth as well? If you use them I'm curious what you used before and if you noticed a difference in your hair after. I've given up my flat iron and the brush was the last thing I have left to convert. Really hoping I like it.
