I don't think that Chaz's hair has looked good for a while. It used to be shiny and healthy looking. Now, it looks greasy. His greasy looking hair paired with the unshaven look is not flattering, IMO.

I have found that WEN is good for damaged hair, but not so good for already healthy hair. It coats the hair shaft to smooth the cuticle layer. If your cuticle is smooth, your hair will look greasy with WEN. For this reason, I can't use it.

Chaz has looked great in the past, even with longer, highlighted hair and face fuzz. Look how shiny and clean his hair looks in these pics.

What is the fascination with how this guy looks? I personally find him rather unkempt and scraggly-looking.

1. It must be fascinating enough for GoodStuff to make a comment.

2. Maybe unkempt and scraggly-looking is what is popular in his community for a his age group. I am sure he doesn't care about what is popular for your age group.

Looks like he needs to wash his hair and shave.

I don't see greasy or dirty hair on my TV, and I have a very large HD TV which shows very large and clear closeups. I see clean shiny hair with contrasting highlights. Perhaps it is your TV or cable service not giving you a clear picture.

I can not believe people believe highlighted hair looks greasy & unkempt- yes it is a matter of ""opinion"" but I am beginning to think they need glasses!

I guess then Joy's hair is greasy or Shawn's or Brad Pitts & David Beckham all because they have highlights !!! NOT!!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking ""your opinion"" so negatively & mean is just so sad -- shows adults still act like bullies even after middle school.- what a great example they are for the kids!

healthy hair shines!

greasy hair is stringy and clumpy....and Chaz's hair is neither

For someone who develops and sells hair products, his own hair leaves something to be desired. He needs to see a stylist.

Just curious, what does your hair look like? Perhaps people don't care for your style. The great thing is, we can all choose how to style our own hair the way we like it. If others don't like it, oh well.

I think a lot of people here, including the above poster, are really showing their age! Sure, if Chaz was in his 60's or older, his style would be ridiculous. But he is not. His hairstyle is appropriate for his age. You don't have to date the guy.

Oh good grief, everyone on this forum, at one point in time, made a first time post. In some thread. Somewhere. I chose this subject because the original poster said something I'd been thinking for a long time. Greasy is when the hair separates in chunks or stands, like his hair looks right now on TV. To me anyway.

I don't use Wen nor do I use Nick's products. I've always used Redken. Mostly because I don't have to order it and can pick it up locally. BUT I find both of the gentlemen entertaining to watch and have learned a lot of styling tips from them both. Nick's taught me how to make my thin hair look fuller and Chaz has taught me to use a round brush as a styling tool, not just as a way to get my hair dry.

Everyone new isn't looking to stir any pot, as you say. Some are, that's for sure. Others just want to jump into a discussion somewhere.
