It is a joke!On 9/22/2014 lizzief said: Actually the OP is not entirely incorrect, though it's Polysorbate -60, not 80. There is also "Cetearyl Alcohol," "Behentrimonium Sulfate," "Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine," and "Cetyl Alcohol" - among others, directly off the label of FGP. Ok, so it's a little white lie, not quite "all natural." Thousands of Wen users either haven't actually read the labels, or don't care, they like the results. I use it primarily as a conditioner. It still has a lot of "healthy" ingredients, and while I don't like the results enough to use it as my only hair product, I still feel I'm giving my hair a "treatment" when I use it. All beauty products have mystery ingredients, which I guess is my point.wen isn't marketed as "all natural".....it does have some natural ingredients....there are some who see/read the word 'natural' and assume it means 'all natural'

She asserted (from something she read) that an ingredient not even found in the CCs is "the major ingredient" and then claimed some properties of this missing ingredient. Do you mean the properties she claims are true of polysorbate-80 are also true of polysorbate-60? Or was the original "article" she referred to actually talking about polysorbate-60?

Ahh yes, lawsuits. Any Tom, Dic* or Harry can file one. Take for example THIS one:
In 1991, a man named Richard Overton filed a lawsuit against Anheiser-Busch for false advertising that had led to emotional distress, mental injury, and financial loss. Harris alleged that, unlike the what happens to guys in their ads, when he drank Bud Light the ladies weren’t attracted to him, nor did beautiful women and tropical settings appear out of thin air, as they did in another Budweiser commercial that was airing at the time. To add insult to this grave injury, he also asserted that when he drank beer, he would often wake up hung over. Overton sued for $10,000, but the case was thrown out before ever making it to trial.

Sorry to say, yes it's real. I also remember the woman that used KY on her PB sandwich saying the label didn't say not to use with peanut butter. Honest to Pete... true story.

Also says right on the 613 label "the unique combination of 25 natural oils and extracts..." and "Full of naturally luxurious ingredients..." It's just marketing, and as some here have said, people assume natural ingredients means "all natural." But I wonder how many Wen users have taken the time to read the labels.
