Whenever my sister-in-law comes to visit, we love to go make up shopping at Nordstrom. So we ventured out yesterday with bare faces. I had no idea what I was going to try. And then there she was....the brand new, beautiful Charlotte Tilbury counter. The SA did a fantastic job of color matching me in the liquid Magic foundation on the first try. I have a very hard time finding liquids that lay right on my dry skin and cover my redness. This foundation laid down beautifully and covered just enough. And it felt light on my skin. I was truly impressed. The SA made up my whole face and I have to say, she did a fantastic job. I bought the foundation and a "5 minute" kit for a natural look that included several products. I'm lucky to have a great Nordstrom in my area. I highly recommend checking out Charlotte Tilbury if you're looking for something new.

Re: Charlotte Tilbury....wow!

StopRach, For months I have been reading about Charlotte Tilburg and I coveted and salivate over her products. I recently discovered that you can shop for her products on her web-site "darling".  It is loaded with tutorials and you can shop by "Looks". My credit card is burning up! I bought a couple of her palettes, contour kit, quads, blushes with lipsticks, Eye Rescue-and you get two substantial samples with each purchase.  One of the best parts is in-packing it.....no bubble wrap here: it is all meticulously, beautifully nestled in this gorgeous burgundy paper....

I really want to try her foundation: I have a collection and I'm not dissatisfied with any of them, but I have to put the breaks on somewhere!

Sahmlam loves her mascara: there are a couple of Charlotte fans here! Go check her site or boudoir "darling"!

Have a beautiful day,

Sorry about the typos: Kindle inserts it's own spellings even though you add a new word to the dictionary.

@StillRachB  Welcome to the "We Love Charlotte" club, lol.  I really do enjoy her products and she is quickly replacing items I've used for years due to her formulations and products that deliver quickly and easily.

I have YET to get to a counter of hers but when I'm in London later this year, I'm going to try and get an appointment at one of her boutiques. At least I'll be able to see things in person and pick up items you can't get here in the states. : )

Re: Charlotte Tilbury....wow!

@StillRachB, was that the quick n easy look with the case and products in the color natural glowing with the very victoria lipstick?  I ask because I was checking that out but when we looked at the lipstick it looked to be a very dark color in the tube.  So if that's what you got, I'm interested in hearing how you like that lipstick on.  Also what you think of the eyeshadow pencil.  TIA!

Re: Charlotte Tilbury....wow!

@Wsmom  Not StillRachB but I own and use the Very Victoria lipstick and it's not dark at all. It's a brownie pink rose color... your lips but better and is fantastic under any gloss if you wish to darken, make it pinker or browner.

It's the only lipstick I can apply without using a mirror and know it will look great. Even with NO makeup on, it looks good. I always have one in my purse.

Her eye pencils are excellent and go on with NO tugging. They also don't smear or crease.

@Wsmom yes, that's the kit. The Lippie is a tawny pink. I'm fair and it's not too dark on me.

Re: Charlotte Tilbury....wow!

The only thing I have gotten of hers is the Legendary Mascara. I was so excited to get it on the suggestion of the makeup artist Wayne Goss. Good Lord I have tried hundreds of mascaras in my life and this was worse than even Wet N Wild or the lowest of low end brands I have tried. I wasn't alone either. Out of 55 reviews, only 18% would repurchase. I was really disappointed. Many of the reviewers had the same problem I did. I hate it when you are really excited about a product and it lets you down. I haven't tried her other products though.

Re: Charlotte Tilbury....wow!

So happy for you and I think it is a good line.  I have two of her eye shadow liners in pencil and one is a beautiful golden color that I place in the crease of my eye lid.  Really pretty.
