Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Finish Pressed Powder

I'm a bit shocked.  I have already hit pan and I probably have used it 5 times.  It's not an inexpensive powder.  It's a GREAT pressed powder but there is no way I can buy at this rate Smiley Sad  Anyone here use it and have been shocked by how quickly you hit pan?

Re: Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Finish Pressed Powder

I use several things from Charlotte Tilbury, blush, mesmerize eye, lip liner and lipstick but had not tried the powder.  I had heard the powder was great but wondered if it had coverage like a foundation powder or just setting makeup.  If it goes that fast it does not matter because I would not buy it as her products are not inexpensive.

Hi @monicakm . There's a difference between pressed powder and setting powder. Setting powder is usually used with a larger fluffy brush and lightly applied mainly to the t zone. Your pressed powder may be requiring more to achieve the coverage you want. Either way, it shouldn't hit pan that soon. Hopefully you can return it and get something else. Her makeup, IMHO is oerpriced for get. Other lines have the similar items for much less. I only have her Filmstar bronzer/highlight compact...still using the same one for 18 months.

Have a great weekend.

@monicakm I don't want to insult you but is it possible you bought the mini?  I cannot imagine hitting pan that quickly in a full size.

I bought the mini version of this and I feel like it took me a long time to use that up.  However, I pretty much used it to set my under eyes and that was it.

Now I use the Boots No. 7 Lift and Luminate for the same purpose.  I just can't justify the CT price because I don't see any difference in how my under eyes look with either of these powders.

I really REALLY like her powder.  IMO, the hype is real.  It's the only CT product I've purchased and fully intended to repurchase it but not at this rate.

It's not as full coverage as the Fenty foundation powder.  It's more coverage than the (loose) Laura Mercier powder.
