@vermint Sorry, I guess I should have stated I would not use Vaseline on my skin.

Aquaphor is a much better/healthier option.

Aquaphor is 40% petroleum jelly (aka 'Vaseline').

@Sugipine I understand, and Vaseline is 100% petroleum jelly.  I believe the Aquaphor is more breathable also for the skin.  Thanks for the clarification.

@LindaSal

I use Aquaphor all the time. I love it. I use the big healing balm stick. So convenient to swipe on, no mess.Woman Happy

Wowza!  I want those ips!  Is the longevity the same as any other gloss?

I feel the longevity is the same or better than most lip glosses that I've used. I believe the reason for this is that this formula actually DOES moisturize my lips for the "long haul". Have not found anything equal... and I believe I might have tried them all searching.

I have used Lady Primrose Lip Fullfill for more than 15 years and I never have chapped lips. It comes in a chapstick type of tube. The company is located in Dallas. They have all kinds of lotions and potions. Very nice company to deal with. Their products are solid in Neiman’s and upscale boutiques.
Also, I wanted to mention that I also have very dry skin and I have used Ahava Time to Revitalize Extreme Night Treatment. It’s a serum and I’ve used it for about 18 years day and night.

I've tried everything possible to help chapped lips without luck. I have been irritated that what works for others didn't work for me. I went back to basics. I keep chapstick in the end table drawer, on the shelf next to my bed, in my purse, in the bathroom.

Used to live in a cold climate and discovered that any lip balm (or whatever) you use is only half the solution.

Drink everything ... and I mean everything ...  including coffee .... through a STRAW.   Drinking beverages that wet your lips and remove whatever is protecting them will exacerbate the chapped problem.

If it sounds weird to you, just do it for a week and see the difference.

(My dentist originally mentioned it because my teeth were sensitive and discolored easily.  A straw helps prevent both).

Many dermatologists say that using a straw all the time can cause wrinkles around the mouth. Your lips will be less chapped, but you could get more wrinkles: take your choice.

This refers to constant use. Maybe in moderation one could avoid wrinkles and still help your lips. As long as one doesn't do it every day, it could be worth a try.

@monicakm  I recommend Flexitol lip balm- its made by an Australian company and is sold on Amazon.  I use it morning and night and my lips are super duper soft! It's $14.99 on Amazon for a pack of 3 and a little goes a long way. Smiley Happy  I'll admit, it doesn't have the most glamorous packaging, but it really is a fantastic product!

I thought that referred mostly to smokers.  I've been using a straw for everything for decades and have almost no wrinkles around my mouth, so I guess everyone is different.  I also use a good moisturizer, so that helps, too.
