This is the first time I can remember ever having chapped lips.  Maybe if I was sick with fever but the first time colder dry air has caused it. I'm using Tatcha's sleep mask at night.  There is another product you ladies have discussed for dry lips but I can't recall the name.  I think it started with an "A".  I'll see if I can find it on WM's website, meanwhile if anyone knows what I'm talking about, please let me know.  Thank you.

Found it!  Aquaphor.  It's going in my cart.

Or you could just use Vaseline Petroleum Jelly if you have it.  Same stuff.

Aquaphor is good, but I highly recommend Smith's Rosebud Salve.  No kidding, since I started using Smith's about 25 years ago, I have not had chapped lips in any season or with any other factors that before would have caused my lips to look like a cracked windshield.  It is still packaged in a little apothecary tin that lasts for months.  If you wear lipstick, another bonus I find with Smith's is my lip color stays on longer because my lips are in good condition and smoother.  It's inexpensive too!  $7

It's sold by many retailers including some drugstores, Amazon, Sephora, Ulta, and other online retailers.

I've tried everything possible to help chapped lips without luck. I have been irritated that what works for others didn't work for me. I went back to basics. I keep chapstick in the end table drawer, on the shelf next to my bed, in my purse, in the bathroom.

@monicakm Burt's Bee's and Beekman chapsticks work wonderfully!   I believe Aquaphor is more of a protectant rather than a treatment.  It is a great product and is much better than Vaseline (I wouldn't ever use petroleum jelly on my skin).  You would most likely benefit more from the other two I mentioned.  Good luck, I feel your pain as I've had chapped lips my entire life Smiley Sad

@Trix   I love my Rosebud Salve! I have the little round tin in my purse, night table, TV room...I always have it within reach.

I use Vaseline and Nivea lip balm daily which keeps my lips soft. I reapply frequently during the day. I can't even remember the last time I had chapped lips.

I like Aquaphor for chapped lips also.  Luckily, it's easily found just about anywhere.
