Hi I understand completely . Thats why I mentioned Maryam's channel .She has a video called "How to Remove Hair Dye without bleach " It uses crush  vitamic C Tablets , peroxide and inexspesnive shampoo. It might be worth a try to watch in the video she has purple strips

Oh man--I would never attempt to do what you are thinking about, myself!! I would go to a hair salon, pay the big bucks to have them do it right!!!  Would be so awful if something happened and you will have to deal with it at a salon anyway--

@marmarbrooklyn    Bleach for hair is made from peroxide.  That is and has always been the main ingredient.  The product in the video is bleach.

I don't understand the thinking behind mixing the peroxide with over the counter products and then proclaiming you are not using bleach on your  hair.  The whole thing Is downright silly.

hairdressers have for years mixed hair grade peroxide with shampoo to lift the hair cuticle so that color would "Take" better on color resistant hair.  Citric acid (Vit.C) strips color from your hair and is not gentle.

The  whole mixture is just a homemade hair stripper that is just as harsh on your hair as anything you can buy from the beauty supply house and could be worse.
