Hi! I'm sorry nothing has worked for you. The amt of time you give a product is essential. What kind of serums were you using? There are 100s of serums.
Have you tried Niacinamide? It's a miracle serum for pimples, uneven skintone and redness. Hydrating products will help plump the appearance of fine lines. Hyaluronic Acid will pull moisture into your skin, giving a plumping effect. I use Niacinamide for uneven skintone and it was a game changer. I have bought it for my teenage grandbabies for their teenage complexions. It's helped tremendously. How about Vit C for brightness and overall skin texture and appearance? It helps with fine and coarse lines.
Good luck with whatever you try.

Yes! I forgot about Retinol AND Glycolic Acid. The suggestions of Tretinonin are, of course, spot on. I just didn't mention it because it's not something I had good results with. BUT, I wasn't willing to give it time. I wasn't having horrible side effects but it was enough that I said "forget it!". There was nothing wrong with my complexion to start with. I wasn't willing to look worse before I looked better. I'm wimpy. So since my only issue was uneven skintone and I've got that fixed, the rest of my extensive skincare regimen is to help slow down the look of aging.
If you have any miracles for puffy under-eyes, I'm all ears! When I was on Lasix after my heart attack, that worked but now I'm off of them and they're back ![]()

Trying hard to get rid of facial oil is often counterintuitive. Your skin will just make more of it to make up for what you've stripped it of. That's all I know about that lol I have dessert dry skin and have to flood it with hydration. I don't have any experience with Differen Gel but a lot of the younger girls I watch on YT have mentioned they use it and it worked wonders.

@Dusty1 I agree that seeing a dermatologist maybe a good idea. I had pimples as a teen, oily skin, etc. I did see a derm for it who prescribed what was popular back in the 1970s. I had two derms tell me...stay away from foundation - all of it. Pore clogging, no matter what the label says. Last foundation I ever used was in 1975.
Roll clock forward to when I turned 56. My period finally stopped, but I had no menopause symptoms other than my face started breaking out again. This time, Retin A was prescribed and I have been using it since. I'm 68. My skin is clear, even, smooth and zit free. I only use a mild cleanser and retin a at night. Daytime, mild cleanser and an oil free day moisturizer...no face makeup except for blush. My derms advice has always been stay off your face...all these primers, fixers, lotions, potions are't doing a thing. But folks see what they want to see in that mirror. Retin a has been the only proven anti acne and anti aging topical...
As far as the hair that's a quick fix. I have grey hair, but no way am I allowing grey. I pay dearly for my highlighted wavy bob. I just had 4 inches cut off my hair as it was sort of too long at shoulder length. I love my mocha brown with caramel highlights.

@monicakm My morning routine includes glycerin and rosewater hydrating mist, vitamin c and moisturizer with SPF in that order. If I were to add Niacinamide when would I apply it?

I never had a skin care regimen. I washed my face once a day in the shower with shampoo and called it a day. I started out using drugstore products and have since moved on to higher end, skin care and my skin looks amazing. I believe with the right products your skin can change. It's not gonna get rid of the wrinkles, but I believe a good skin care routine is a must.

I would use it after the rosewater essence but also before the glycerin. Essences go on first. You may be putting your glycerin on too early but I don't use it, so I'm not sure. I put heavier products on last. I do have a bottle of it but didn't like the way it made my skin feel like it was suffocating. I buy The Ordinary's Niacinamide. It's inexpensive and works. BTW, if you're ok with snail mucin, that is also a very good product for redness and pimples (it's odorless).

I know what argan oil is and have used it but what is "active" argan oil?
Active Argan is a brand name and it uses a blend of oils + argan oil.
