For those of you who part your hair: have you changed your hair parting either just a little or to another side to promote hair growth in thinning spots? Was it successful for you?
I read that it might be helpful because parting hair the same way (for some) may cause a little damage.
Trying this and hoping it might help.

My hair naturally is parted on the left side. Every now and again I'll try parting it on the right side, it always feels kind of weird. My hairdresser says you have to train your hair to part the other side, and sometimes it can be painful!

I have to just conceal but it makes sense it could help with damage and exposure to the old part too.

I've tried but it's a lost cause. Mines staying in the middle where it's been since at least 6th grade. LOL!!!
I wash my hair, brush & can shake my head so my hair will pretty much fall in place.

Mine just seems to part itself in the same place no matter what I do.

I always do a side part - never middle. I go either way depending on what side looks the fullest for that particular day.

I do try and change it up - to reduce my cowlicks. Right now I am going for a "no part, part" somewhere close to the middle. As my current style grows I may go to a more side thing.

Everyone has a natural part. It may be hard to change the direction of the hair without gels or foams to train it.
