Celtic Crafter, I am sooooooo sorry I messed up your thread about yellow stained nails!
I tried to go back and edit out all the garbage that messed it up, but I can't. Yikes! That's never happened to me before and I am really, really sorry!
What I wanted to tell you was there are some home remedies you can try to hopefully solve your problem.
Here are a couple of different methods for removing yellow stains from your nails:
1) Soak your nails in lemon juice for several minutes.
2) Mix a paste with hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. Use approx. 2.5 T of baking soda to 1 T of HP, but it's not critical that it is exact. Use a cotton swab to apply paste to nails and leave on for about 3 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
3) You can also make a paste of lemon juice and baking soda (as above, just substitute lemon juice for HP) if you don't have HP on hand but do have lemon juice.
4) Use a whitening toothpaste & an old toothbrush to polish nails.
5) Denture tablets--following directions on package & soak your nails for several minutes.
Hope one of these helps. Again, sorry for my mess on the other thread
