I think the thing that can get really confusing--at least for me--is that there are two types of Cetaphil cleansers.
I have both kinds.
There's the gentle milky-type of cleanser that you can tissue off if you want to, where you don't even need to rinse it off with water, although i'lll use water with it.
Then there's the other kind of cleanser that is also nice and says on the bottle that it's good for normal or oily skin.
This one says that it can also remove make-up.
It looks like baby shampoo and has a mild scent to it.
@Toppers3, I accidently bought the gel cleanser for normal to oily skin once. It was too much for my drier skin and it still didn't really remove make-up but it did a better job than the creamy one does. I also didn't like the scent at all.

Hi @Lipstickdiva ,
I can see where it might be too drying for your skin if it's already on the dry side.
My skin type is combination, but it can still get really oily around my nose especially, so I don't have any problems with the gel-type of cleanser.
I like the gentle cleanser though, for the times when my skin gets more irritated.
I also have Rosacea and there are times when it flares up due to the cold weather, etc.

I have been trying vanicream, soap, body lotion.

@I am still oxox Most of the time, I use Cetaphil as my second cleanse after removing makeup w/ my oil cleanser. In the morning, when makeup removal is not an issue, Cetaphil is a wonderful, gentle cleanser.
